The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team continues Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Saturday, January 3 when the T-Birds host the Pratt Beavers at 4 pm. The game will be played at Arley Bryant Gymnasium and will be streamed on the
T-Bird Sports Network.
Cloud County (6-7, 1-6 KJCCC) is coming off a 75-62 road loss to Hutchinson Community College in its last KJCCC game on December 13. The T-Birds have lost six straight games since winning their conference opener, an 85-65 win over Seward County Community College on November 19.
Pratt Community College is 3-10 overall and 0-8 in KJCCC play. The Beavers began the season winning three of their first four games, but have not won since November 8.
The T-Birds and the Beavers met twice last season with Cloud County sweeping the regular season matchups, including winning on a
Syncere Burnette layup as time expired, resulting in an 80-79 road victory in their last meeting on March 5, 2025.
Cloud County averages 86.2 points per game and has a +8.3 scoring margin. The T-Birds pull down 44.9 rebounds per contest with a +11.4 rebound margin. Cloud County is making 45.3 percent from the field, including 27.7 percent from three-point range. The T-Birds also average 12.6 assists, 10.2 steals and 3.1 blocked shots per game.
Coming off his second double-double of the season with 23 points on 11-of-18 shooting to go with 11 rebounds against Hutchinson, redshirt freshman forward
Manasseh Stackhouse is averaging 12.3 points per game and 7.1 rebounds per game. Stackhouse also ranks second on the team at 1.2 steals per game.
Sophomore forward
Elidjah Savane is averaging 11.3 points per game after scoring in double-figures in three of the team's last four games. Savane is second on the team in field-goal percentage at 56.6 percent and ranks third on the team in rebounding at 6.7 rebounds per game.
Freshman forward
D'ontez Walker is averaging 11.0 points per game on a team-best 57.0 percent shooting from the floor. Walker is also averaging 4.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals per contest.
Burnette, a sophomore guard, scores 8.5 points per game with 16 made three-pointers on the season. Burnette leads the team with 3.1 assists per game and is tied with Stackhouse for second on the team with 1.2 steals per contest.

Kuel Akot and
DJ Holloway are both averaging 7.2 points per game. Akot has a team-best 20 made three-pointers on the year, while Holloway leads the team with 1.5 steals per game.
