Box Score The Cloud County Community College volleyball team fell on the road to Seward County Community College in three sets during a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) match Saturday, September 20 inside the Greenhouse in Liberal, Kansas. The Saints won the match by scores of 16-25, 17-25, 22-25.
With the result, Cloud County falls to 5-13 on the year and 0-4 in KJCCC play, while the Saints move to 5-10 overall and 2-2 in KJCCC action.
Sophomore
Iza Caroline da Silva paced Cloud County with 11 kills on a .241 attack percentage. Sophomore
Grace Rowland added eight kills. Redshirt freshman
Addyson Ogle dished out 19 assists in the match. Ogle also added 13 digs, while sophomore libero
Beatrice Giusti led the team defensively, notching 16 digs.
The T-Birds return to action on Monday, September 22 when they host Kansas Wesleyan University JV in non-conference play. Opening serve against the Coyotes inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium is slated for 6:30 pm and the match will be streamed live on the
T-Bird Sports Network.
