Box Score 2 The Cloud County Community College volleyball team lost their opening two matches in the 2025 Wrangler Ranger Round Up in Ranger, Texas on Friday, August 22. The T-Birds fell to Panola College in three sets and fell once again to host Ranger College in straight sets.
In the opening match of the tournament, Cloud County lost to Panola College, 12-25, 22-25, 12-25. Freshman middle hitter
Zoey Sudbeck led the team in kills with seven, followed by sophomore outside hitter
Grace Rowland with six. Redshirt freshman setter
Addyson Ogle aided the Cloud County attack with 15 assists. Rowland led the defense with 11 digs. Sophomore libero
Beatrice Giusti had eight digs, while freshman
Brooke Lougheed finished with seven.
In the second match of the day, Ranger College handed the T-Birds a three-set loss, 12-25, 15-25, 12-25. Rowland led the charge with 10 kills and seven digs. Sudbeck contributed five kills while freshman pin hitter
Kenadie Casanova finished with four kills. Ogle led the team with 21 assists. Defensively, Giusti had six digs.
The T-Birds next match up with Dallas College Mountain View at Cisco College at 11 am on Saturday, August 23, before concluding play in the Wrangler Ranger Round Up at 3 pm Saturday against No. 20 Blinn College.
