The Cloud County Community College wrestling team concluded its run at the 2025 NJCAA Wrestling Championships on Friday, March 7, ending its 2024-2025 season.
The T-Birds finished with 3 points at the national tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Macallistair Chambers (174 lbs.) concluded his wrestling career at Cloud County by going 1-2 overall at the national tournament. After receiving a first round bye, Chambers won a 17-4 major decision over Jesse Thornton of Northwest College in the championship second round. In the championship third round, Chambers dropped his match to Mustafa Salimi of Triton College by a 7-4 decision. In the consolation bracket, Chambers came up short against Deontre Buttram of Carl Albert State College, losing by a 24-9 technical fall.
Sophomore
Easton Boone (165 lbs.) finished his season by going 0-2 at the national tournament. Boone received a first round bye to start the day. In the championship second round, Boone lost by an 11-0 major decision to Gabe Lake of North Idaho. Boone ended the tournament with a consolation bracket loss to Colin Menold of Southeast Community College by a 12-1 major decision.
Freshman
Micah Cauthers (184 lbs.) came up short in both of his matches on Friday. Cauthers suffered a 15-0 technical fall loss to Isaac White of Southeast Community College in his first match of the day, before falling by a 23-5 technical fall to Brannigan Reyes of Cowley College in a consolation bout.
Freshman
Jayden Berry (285 lbs.) also went 0-2 at the national tournament. Berry fell by a 13-4 major decision to Umair Ahmad of Iowa Central in his opening round match. In the consolation bracket, Berry dropped a 6-0 decision to Gabe Kant of Labette Community College.
