The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team will make a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) road trip to Colby on Saturday, December 6 at 3 pm. The game from the Colby Event Center will be streamed by

Cloud County is coming off an 81-78 overtime loss to Dodge City Community College on November 29. This marked Cloud County's third straight conference loss, dropping the T-Birds to 6-4 on the year and 1-3 in KJCCC play. Freshman wing
Samuel Akot posted season-highs in points, rebounds, steals and blocked shots to lead the way for Cloud County. Akot had 19 points with three made three-pointers. Additionally, Akot grabbed eight rebounds and collected four steals and three blocked shots in 31 minutes on the floor. Sophomore forward
Elidjah Savane recorded a double-double with 15 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Freshman forward
D'ontez Walker was also in double-figures with 13 points, while freshman
Kaidan Chatham had nine points and a team-high five assists in 40 minutes off the bench.
Colby is looking to end an eight-game losing streak after its 86-79 road loss at Dodge City Community College on December 3. Cloud County has won six of its last eight meetings with Colby, including an 85-83 win in the opening round of the 2025 Region 6 Men's Basketball Tournament.

Walker is averaging 11.6 points per game on a team-leading 63.4 percent shooting from the floor. Walker also pulls down 5.0 rebounds per game.
Savane is the fourth T-Bird in double-figures, averaging 11.0 points per game. Savane is third on the team in rebounding at 6.1 rebounds per game.
