The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team will visit Hutchinson Community College on Saturday, December 13 in their final game before the Christmas holiday break.
Tip-off is slated for 4 pm inside the Hutchinson Sports Arena and will be streamed live on theÂ
Blue Dragon Sports Network. Fans can also listen to the game on
1390 KNCK and 98.3 FM, with Austin McNorton calling the action.
Cloud County (6-6, 1-5 KJCCC) has lost five straight games all by single digits. Most recently, the T-Birds fell victim to a late-game scoring drought in a 72-68 home loss to No. 22 Coffeyville Community College on December 10. Cloud County was outscored 11-0 over the final three minutes. The T-Birds had led by as many as ten points in the game, which featured four ties and 13 lead changes.

Hutchinson comes into Saturday's game at 8-5 on the season and 3-4 in KJCCC play. The Blue Dragons have won two of their last three games following a 58-57 road win over then-No. 15 Barton Community College, and an 82-66 road win over No. 21 Dodge City Community College. Hutchinson has won five consecutive meetings with Cloud County, including recording a 98-73 win over the T-Birds in Hutchinson in their most recent meeting on February 15, 2025.
The T-Birds average 88.3 points per game and have a +11.0 scoring margin. Cloud County pulls down 45.2 rebounds per contest with a +11.9 rebound margin. Kuel Akot is averaging 7.8 points per contest with a team-best 20 made three-pointers on the year. Akot is also averaging 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Holloway is scoring 6.6 points per game while adding 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and a team-high 1.6 steals per game.
