The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team will host Dodge City Community College in a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) battle on Saturday, November 29. The contest from Arley Bryant Gymnasium will start at 4 pm and will be streamed live on the T-Bird Sports Network.

Cloud County (6-3, 1-2 KJCCC) is coming off a 95-89 loss to No. 23 Cowley College on November 25. The T-Birds trailed by as many as 14 points in the second-half before mounting a ferocious rally to pull ahead by three points with just over six minutes to play, but the Tigers closed strong to earn the home win.

Freshman forward Al Brooks Jr. delivered his fifth double-double of the season to lead five T-Birds in double-figures. Brooks finished with 22 points on 6-of-12 shooting and an 8-of-10 performance from the free-throw line, while adding a team-high 10 rebounds. Freshman guard Kam Williams joined him in double-figures with a season-high 16 points, including 10-of-12 free-throws, in 15 minutes of action. Freshman forward D'ontez Walker totaled 12 points, three rebounds and a team-high three assists. Freshman forward Manasseh Stackhouse added 11 points and seven rebounds. Freshman guard DJ Holloway chipped in 10 points with two made three-pointers to go with five rebounds. Sophomore guard Syncere Burnette and sophomore wing Samuel Akot had eight points apiece.

Dodge City recorded its first KJCCC win of the season with a 78-75 home win over Cowley College on November 22. The Conquistadors sit at 5-3 overall and 1-1 in KJCCC action. In the last meeting between Cloud County and Dodge City, the Conquistadors upset the T-Birds, 86-85 in Concordia on January 25, 2025. Dodge City's Derrick Rivers splashed a three-pointer while drawing a foul to tie the game at 85-all. Rivers then connected on the go-ahead free-throw with seven seconds left, securing the win for the Conquistadors.

This season, Cloud County is averaging 93.7 points per game and have a +14.8 scoring margin. Cloud County pulls down a KJCCC-leading 46.0 rebounds per contest with a +13.6 rebound margin. The T-Birds are holding opponents to 78.9 points per game on 42.0 percent shooting from the field and 30.7 percent shooting from long-range. Cloud County also averages 13.8 assists, 11.7 steals, and 3.2 blocked shots per game.

Brooks is first in the KJCCC in rebounds at 9.8 rebounds per game. Brooks leads Cloud County in scoring at 19.1 points per game, which is sixth overall in the KJCCC. Brooks is also fourth in the conference in blocked shots at 1.9 blocks per game.

Stackhouse is next in scoring for Cloud County at 13.4 points per game on 55.1 percent shooting to go with 7.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.

Walker averages 11.4 points per game and is averaging 5.2 rebounds per game. Walker leads the team in field-goal percentage at 67.2 percent.

Sophomore forward Elidjah Savane is scoring 10.6 points per game on 59.0 percent shooting. Savane also pulls down 5.4 rebounds per game.

Burnette ranks second on the team in three-point makes with 16. Burnette is scoring 9.9 points per game and leads the team with 3.4 assists per contest.

Sophomore guard Kuel Akot leads Cloud County with 17 made three-pointers on 44.7 percent shooting from long-range. Akot averages 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

Other Cloud County regulars include Williams (5.9 ppg), Holloway (5.6 ppg), Samuel Akot (5.6 ppg), and freshman guard Ikee Brooks (2.0 ppg).
