                     As the season comes down to its final week, the Cloud County Community College volleyball team will begin its final stretch of Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play Wednesday, October 29 when they travel to El Dorado, Kansas to face the Butler Community College Grizzlies. First serve is slated for 6 pm inside the Power Plant.
The T-Birds wrapped up the home portion of their 2025 schedule on October 25 with a three-set loss to Dodge City Community College in KJCCC action. Cloud County was swept in the match by set scores of 17-25, 17-25, 14-25. Sophomore pin hitter 
Carlie Carlgren led Cloud County with nine kills, seven digs and three service aces in the match, while sophomore outside hitter 
Iza Caroline da Silva followed with six kills and freshman pin hitter 
Kenadie Casanova finished with five kills and two blocks. Freshman setter 
Ylvie Schmid totaled 15 assists and six digs, while redshirt freshman setter 
Addyson Ogle added eight assists. Freshman defensive specialist 
Brooke Lougheed led the team with ten digs, while sophomore defensive specialist 
Reachert Chiquin totaled eight digs. 
Entering the week, Cloud County has a 6-26 overall record and an 0-14 mark in KJCCC play. Butler Community College is 18-11 on the season and 8-6 in conference action. The Grizzlies are coming off a home sweep of Garden City Community College on October 25.

The two teams met previously on September 27 with Cloud County falling in straight sets at home, 12-25, 12-25, 16-25. Casanova paced the T-Birds' offense in the match with six kills, while da Silva picked up five kills and five digs. Freshmen middle hitters 
Elizabeth Schuster and 
Zoey Sudbeck tallied four kills each. Schuster also added two service aces. Ogle accumulated nine assists, while Schmid had five assists. Sophomore libero 
Beatrice Giusti had a team-high 14 digs.
Carlgren currently leads the T-Birds with 194 total kills, an average of 2.02 kills per set. Carlgren also leads the team with 33 service aces.
Sudbeck ranks second on the team with 161 total kills, an average of 1.87 kills per set. Sudbeck also ranks second on the team in total blocks with 58.
Schuster has 156 total kills, an average of 1.43 kills per set, and leads the team with 84 total blocks.
Casanova has provided 120 total kills, an average of 1.43 kills per set. Casanova also ranks third on the team in total blocks with 44.
Schmid paces the Cloud County attack with 381 assists, an average of 6.56 assists per set. She has also contributed 136 total digs.
Ogle adds 343 assists, an average of 4.04 assists per set. Ogle also ranks fourth on the team in digs with 158.
Giusti and Lougheed lead the T-Bird back row. Giusti has tallied 353 total digs, an average of 3.49 digs per set, while Lougheed has 241 total digs, an average of 2.77 digs per set.
