                    Box Score The Cloud County Community College volleyball team suffered a three-set setback at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) action on Saturday, October 18. The Blue Dragons extended their current series winning streak to 20 consecutive match wins over Cloud County with a 16-25, 21-25, 16-25 decision over the visiting T-Birds.
Freshman middle blocker 
Zoey Sudbeck led all T-Birds with nine kills on a .250 attack percentage. Sophomore pin hitter 
Carlie Carlgren finished with seven kills and eight digs. Freshman middle hitter 
Elizabeth Schuster followed with five kills on a .385 attack percentage to go with five blocks.
Freshman setter 
Ylvie Schmid contributed 22 assists, eight digs and two service aces.
Defensively, redshirt freshman defensive specialist 
Addyson Ogle provided eight digs, while sophomore libero 
Beatrice Giusti had seven digs.
Cloud County returns home on Wednesday, October 22 when it hosts Seward County Community College in KJCCC play. The T-Birds and Saints will meet at 6:30 pm from Arley Bryant Gymnasium.
Seward County is currently 8-15 overall and 5-7 in conference play and are coming off a four-set loss to Garden City Community College on October 18. Prior to that, the Saints upended No. 9 Colby in a four-set match on October 15, handing the Trojans their first conference loss of the season.
Earlier this season, Cloud County dropped a three-set match at Seward County on September 20 by set scores of 16-25, 17-25, 22-25. Sophomore 
Iza Caroline da Silva paced Cloud County with 11 kills on a .241 attack percentage. Ogle dished out 19 assists in the match. Ogle also added 13 digs, while Giusti led the team defensively, notching 16 digs.
