The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team returns home to face Fort Hays Tech Northwest on Saturday, February 1 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play. Tip from Arley Bryant Gymnasium is set for 4 pm, and the game will be streamed live on the
T-Bird Sports Network.

With the loss, the T-Birds sit at 10-11 on the year and 4-11 in conference play. Cloud County has lost three straight since last beating Pratt at home, 84-74, on January 18.
Fort Hays Tech Northwest has won back-to-back games and three of its last four to sit at 7-12 overall and 5-10 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference action. In the first meeting between the two teams this season,Â
Akot made a three-pointer with 0.8 seconds left, helping Cloud County pick up a nail biting 87-86 win on November 30 in Goodland, Kansas. Both teams shot the ball well in the tightly-contested affair, with Cloud County having the edge at 53.3 percent to 49.3 percent. The T-Birds shot 11-of-23 (47.8 percent) from deep, while Fort Hays Tech Northwest went 3-of-12 (25.0 percent). Fort Hays Tech Northwest was 13-of-17 (76.5 percent) from the free-throw line, while Cloud County went 12-of-17 (70.6 percent). Helping Fort Hays Tech Northwest stay in the game was 52 points in the paint compared to 40 for the T-Birds. Fort Hays Tech Northwest also tallied 26 points off turnovers.
Cloud County has won five of the last six games in the series. The T-Birds also have a five-game winning streak at home against Fort Hays Tech Northwest.
