The Cloud County Community College wrestling team will continue Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference action on Wednesday, January 22 when it hosts Neosho County and Colby in a conference tri-dual. Neosho County and Colby will face off at 4 pm, followed by Cloud County and Neosho County at 5:30 pm. Cloud County will then conclude the night against Colby at 7 pm.
The T-Bird Sports Network at cloudtbirds.com is set to broadcast all three duals.
The T-Birds are coming off a pair of losses to open its Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference dual slate. Cloud County fell 45-6 to No. 9 Pratt and 45-9 to No. 13 Labette in Parsons, Kansas on January 15.
Cloud County's lineup includes sophomore
Macallistair Chambers, who is ranked No. 6 overall in the 174 pound weight class. Chambers won a 13-12 decision over Trystian Juarez of Pratt last week, but did not wrestle a match against the Labette Cardinals. The rest of the T-Birds lineup features

Neosho County enters the tri-dual with a 1-4 dual record. The Panthers last competed in Great Bend, Kansas on January 16. Neosho County topped the Barton Cougars in their first match, 30-22, before falling to Cowley College by a final score of 29-22. Cloud County leads the all-time series with Neosho, 4-1. The T-Birds have won three straight, including a 36-15 win last year on February 1, 2024.
Colby is coming off a 53-6 road loss to Fort Hays Tech Northwest in their first conference dual of the season. Cloud County and Colby previously met at the Loosbrock Duals in Atchison, Kansas on November 8 with the T-Birds scoring a 30-21 victory. Cloud County is 6-0 all-time in its series history with the Trojans.
