Box Score The Cloud County Community College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Garden City Community College on Saturday, September 14 in Arley Bryant Gymnasium.

The host T-Birds lost by set scores of 16-25, 26-28, 9-25. Cloud County has slipped to 3-10 overall and 0-4 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play.

Sophomore setter Ashley Suter paced Cloud County with a match-best 16 assists and five digs. Freshman outside hitter Carlie Carlgren checked in with five kills and six digs. Sophomore Kloë Waymel added five kills and three aces. Freshman Grace Rowland recorded four kills and four digs. Freshman Karoline Schroeder had four kills and six digs. Freshman Beatrice Giusti led the team with nine digs. Freshman Berkleigh Curtis added eight digs, while sophomore Bradie Medina registered six digs.

Cloud County will travel to Hutchinson for a showdown with the Hutchinson Blue Dragons in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference action on Wednesday, September 18 at 6 pm. The T-Birds then will host a triangular with Otero Junior College and Southeast Community College on Friday, September 20, starting at 2 pm.
