The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team travels to Coffeyville Community College on Wednesday, December 11. Tip from Gilmer K. Nellis Hall in Coffeyville will be at 7:30 pm and the game will be streamed by the

Cloud County is coming off back-to-back losses for the first time this season. The T-Birds fell 73-66 at Colby on December 4, before dropping a home game to Independence, 79-66, on December 7. Coffeyville sits at the top of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference standings at 5-0, while Cloud County is tied for fourth place at 3-3.
Cloud County has won three straight and four of their last five games against the Red Ravens. The T-Birds swept the regular season series in 2023-2024, including a 63-43 win in Coffeyville on November 21, 2023.
Cloud County enters Wednesday's matchup averaging 80.5 points per game with a plus-8.2 scoring margin. The T-Birds pull down 38.6 rebounds per outing. Cloud County is fourth in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in three-point shooting percentage at 36 percent. The T-Birds also average 13.3 assists, 8.1 steals and 3.9 blocked shots per contest.
Coming off his eighth straight double-digit scoring performance, freshman forward
Elidjah Savane leads Cloud County in scoring at 14.3 points per game on 59.6 percent shooting from the field. Savane ranks third in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in total rebounds with 98, an average of 8.2 rebounds per game. His 24 blocked shots are first on the team and rank fourth in the conference.
After scoring a season-high 20 points against Independence on December 7, redshirt freshman
Keyon Garrett-Miller is averaging 13.3 points per game. Garrett-Miller leads the T-Birds in assists at 3.0 assists per game, and he's the team-leader in steals with 17, an average of 1.4 steals per game.

Matthew Garber continues to lead Cloud County with 33 made three-pointers, shooting 38.9 percent from long-range. Garber is averaging 11.2 points and 6.4 rebounds for the season.

Syncere Burnette are averaging 10.3 points and 9.3 points per game, respectively. Akot also averages 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, while Burnette is averaging 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Burnette is also the top free-throw shooter on the team at 83.4 percent.
