Matthew Garber is finally getting his chance to play college basketball as he has dreamed to do his entire life. A redshirt last year, Garber has generally acquitted himself well this season, averaging 10 points per game on 44.7 percent shooting with a team-leading 12 three-pointers through five games. The 6-foot-2 guard is also second on the team in rebounds at 6.4 per game and tied for first on the team in steals. Prior to coming to Cloud County, Garber was a 3A Boys All-State First-Team selection in 2023 by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association, and a unanimous two-time all-league selection in the Big 7 league for the Sabetha Bluejays.
