The Cloud County Community College volleyball team will host the Seward County Saints inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium on Wednesday, October 9, with first serve set for 6:30 pm.

Cloud County comes into the match after losing four straight, including home conference losses to Butler, Pratt and Colby. Cloud County is just 2-6 inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium this season. The team hasn't recorded a conference win at home since October 28, 2023.

The T-Birds lineup is headlined by sophomore Bradie Medina. Medina is fifth in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in kills per set at 3.11. Medina is also fifth in the conference in digs per set at 4.18. Freshman Beatrice Giusti is No. 11 on the conference leaderboard in digs per set at 3.09. Sophomore Emery May is No. 12 in the conference in total blocks with 51. Freshman Maria Clara Lopes Miranda is seventh in the conference in assists per set at 5.47, while sophomore Kloë Waymel is fourth in the conference in number of service aces with 34.

Seward County, underneath second year head coach Aubrey Wilson, enters Wednesday's match at 6-12 overall and 2-6 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference action. The Saints have lost five of their last six matches, with their only win in the stretch being a 3-0 home victory over Lamar Community College on September 30. The Saints are led by freshman outside hitter Mariana Silva, who leads the team with 202 kills. Seward County carries a 1-7 road record into the contest.

Cloud County and Seward County will be meeting for the second time this season. In their last get-together on September 7, the Saints topped the T-Birds in four-sets, 15-25, 21-25, 25-17, 22-25. The two teams have split their last six regular season matchups.
