Box Score The Cloud County Community College volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at No. 5 Barton Community College on Wednesday, October 2. Set scores were 16-25, 16-25, 14-25. The T-Birds fall to 5-14 overall and 0-8 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play.

Freshman outside hitter Grace Rowland led Cloud County with seven kills, three digs and one block assist. Sophomore Bradie Medina collected six kills and a team-high 15 digs. Freshman Carlie Carlgren also had six kills. Freshman Beatrice Giusti tallied 10 digs, while freshman Berkleigh Curtis and sophomores Kloë Waymel and Ashley Suter had six digs each. Suter also chipped in a team-best 10 assists.

Cloud County will return to action on Saturday, October 5 when they host another nationally-ranked opponent, No. 8 Colby Community College, for a 3 pm match inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium. In their first meeting on September 4, the T-Birds were swept on the road by Colby, 13-25, 16-25, 20-25.
