CONCORDIA, Kan. - Three Cloud County Community College athletic programs have announced changes to their originally scheduled weekend games set to take place this weekend. 

The changes begin right away on Friday as the originally scheduled Cloud County Community College baseball road doubleheader at Butler Community College has been changed to a home doubleheader from Lee Doyen Field beginning at 10:30 AM on March 19th. The change comes due to field conditions that would not allow Friday's doubleheader to take place in El Dorado, causing the switch in the series to move the first two games in the four-game set to Concordia. Saturday's doubleheader has been moved as a result of the new change to Friday, with games on the 21st starting at 1 p.m. from McDonald Field in El Dorado, Kansas. 

In other changes to the CCCC Athletics schedule on Friday, the Cloud County Community College basketball doubleheader at Seward County Community College has been changed to a single women's game beginning at 2 p.m. The change comes following a forfeit from the Seward County Community College men's basketball team against the T-Birds that was awarded on Thursday afternoon as the T-Bird women will now make a solo trip to Liberal, Kansas to take on the Saints in their final Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference West Division matchup of the year. 

The final change of the weekend will come on Sunday, March 21st as the Cloud County Community College softball team will make up a previously postponed road doubleheader at Cowley College with a 1 p.m. doubleheader in Arkansas City. Originally scheduled for Thursday, the games were postponed due to unplayable field conditions in Arkansas City as the T-Birds and Tigers will now meet up in a rare Sunday doubleheader. 

In games and events not affected by the recent changes, the CCCC softball team will still host Hesston College on Saturday, March 20th for a 1 p.m. doubleheader while the T-Bird track and field teams will open their 2021 outdoor season on Saturday at the Pratt Community College Invitational in Pratt, Kansas.
