CONCORDIA, Kan. – Following the release of the 2019 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference All-West Division Soccer teams, four Cloud County Community College soccer athletes have been named first-team All NJCAA Region VI selections for their performances throughout the 2019 soccer seasons.
On the women's side, sophomores Izabella Christina and Franciele Cupertino both earned their second consecutive All-NJCAA Region VI honors while freshman Jelldrik Dallmann and Felipe D'Agostini represented the T-Birds men's soccer team with First Team All-NJCAA Region VI selections.
Cupertino earned her second consecutive first-team all-region honors after being named 2019 KJCCC West Player of the Year. Scoring 12 goals and adding 12 assists this season, Cupertino appeared in and started 16 matches for CCCC this past season. With a total of 36 points, Cupertino would earn KJCCC Player of the Week honors on October 22nd and rank seventh among all KJCCC players in total points this season while leading the conference with a total of 90 shots and finishing second in game-winning goals (five).
Christina picks up first-team all-region VI accolades for the second-straight year after leading CCCC and the KJCCC with a total of 20 goals while also adding 10 assists for a total of 51 points (second-most in the KJCCC). The sophomore would appear in all 17 games for Cloud County, starting 16 while scoring four-game winning goals and being named KJCCC Player of the Week on September 10th.
D'Agostini earns first-team all-region VI honors after being named Co-KJCCC West Division Player of the Year following a year in which the freshman would be named KJCCC Player of the Week and NJCAA National Player of the Week on October 23rd. D'Agostini would appear in 18 total games, starting 17 for the T-Birds and score 15 goals to go along with eight assists for a total of 38 points. The 15 total goals would be the fourth-most among all players in the KJCCC while the 38 total points ranked third among players in the conference.
Dallmann lands first-team all-region VI recognition after being named first-team All-KJCCC West Division last week after leading the KJCCC in both goals (17) and points (43) this past season while appearing in 19 games for CCCC. 15 of the matches would be started by Dallmann, as the freshman would be named KJCCC Player of the week on September 18th of this season.
