Men's Soccer Lands Seven On KJCCC West Division All-Conference Teams

CONCORDIA, Kan. – The Cloud County Community College men's soccer team netted seven All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference West Division selections including five First-Team honorees as part of the All-Conference release on Wednesday, December 4th.

Landing First-Team All-KJCCC West Division honors are Co-KJCCC West Division Player of the Year Felipe D'Agostini, Jelldrik Dallmann, Djougher Oliveira, Jamie Rinquist, and Norberto Vieira. Manuel Marquez and Andrew Long would also garner postseason honors by being named Second-Team All-KJCCC West Division for their play in 2019.

D'Agostini's Co-KJCCC West Division Player of the Year honors come following a year in which the freshman would be named KJCCC Player of the Week and NJCAA National Player of the Week on October 23rd after scoring a game-winning goal against nationally-ranked Barton Community College. D'Agostini would appear in 18 total games, starting 17 for the T-Birds and score 15 goals to go along with eight assists for a total of 38 points. The 15 total goals would be the fourth-most among all players in the KJCCC while the 38 total points ranked third among players in the conference.

Dallmann lands First-Team All-KJCCC West Division honors after leading the KJCCC in both goals (17) and points (43) this past season while appearing in 19 games for CCCC. 15 of the matches would be started by Dallmann, as the freshman would be named KJCCC Player of the week on September 18th of this season.

Oliveira turned things up a notch in conference action, appearing in 16 games overall while starting 15 for the T-Birds. Scoring nine goals and adding six assists, Oliveira would tally two game-winning goals this season and would be named the KJCCC Player of the Week on October 1st.

Rinequist appeared in 15 matches for the T-Birds this season, starting 14 while playing primarily on the back line for a CCCC team that would allow just 14 goals in 19 games. With Rinequist in the lineup, Cloud County would go 10-4 while posting six shutouts.

Vieira was a key component to the success of the T-Birds this past season, making 15 appearances in goal which included a total of 13 starts while playing 1,192 total minutes. Logging a total of four shutouts, Vieira would make 54 saves while allowing just 11 goals for a 0.83 Goals Against Average and would be a three-time KJCCC Goalkeeper of the Week to go along with being named NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week on October 9th.

Marquez would be another piece of the back-line for Cloud County that allowed just 14 goals in 19 games, appearing in 15 total games while making 14 starts. The Second-Team All-KJCCC West Division honors are the first postseason honors for Marquez in his career.

Long completes the seven-honorees for Cloud County as the freshman would appear in and start 15 matches for CCCC. Playing on the back line for the T-Birds, Long would assist on one goal and attempt one shot during the season.
