GARDEN CITY, Kansas — The Cloud County Community College volleyball team suffered a tough loss Friday evening, falling in straight sets (25-15, 25-9 and 25-13) on the road against Garden City Community College.

With the loss, Cloud County falls to 4-16 overall on the season and to 1-8 in the KJCCC. Garden City improved to 4-17 overall and 2-6 in the conference.

Redshirt sophomore Drew Mann led all Cloud players with five kills, while sophomores Elizabeth Nobert and Irem Bat each added three kills apiece.

Freshman setter Kamryn Stark tallied 10 assists and defensively freshman Britt Michaelis popped up 10 digs.

Cloud County will look to shake off Friday's loss when it continues its seven-match road trip at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday against Hutchinson Community College.
