CONCORDIA, Kansas — The Cloud County Community College volleyball team will be leading a food drive on Monday, prior to the T-Birds' home match against Butler Community College at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Cloud County is encouraging fans to help in its efforts of donating to the pantry at the Helping Hands ministry, which assists client visits to the food bank through the Manna House of Prayer and the Sister of St. Joseph, individuals out of food stamps or who do not qualify, and to people in other counties who may not have a food bank of their own.

"We were looking for a way to help the Manna House of Prayer and the Sisters of St. Joseph as a thank you for the many services they provide," said Cloud County head coach, Molly Skocny.

The items in need include: dry pasta and rice, boxed potatoes, peanut butter, dry cereal, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables and meats, soup, boxed meals, jelly, oatmeal, mac and chees, canned fruits and beans.

Donations will be collected at the admission tables when fans enter Arley Bryant Gymnasium.
