Box Score Concordia, KS- Cloud County dropped a conference match to the Saints of Seward County on Monday night in straight sets, 25-21, 25-10, and 25-16. 
Christen Greving gave Cloud their first lead in the first with an early kill to go ahead 7-6. The T-Birds continued their momentum stretching the first set lead to 9-6 before Seward called a timeout. The Saints then went on a run of their own to take the lead back for good and win the first set 25-21. 
Cloud fell behind early in the second set. Seward controlled momentum from start to finish and took the second set 25-10
The T-Birds came out in the third set with energy and grabbed an early 4-3 lead. Seward answered and pulled ahead. Cloud continued to rally but never took another lead in the third set, losing the third and deciding set by a score of 25-16. 
The T-Birds are now 7-6 on the season and 2-2 in Jayhawk Conference play. Seward improves to 9-3,3-1. 
Cloud will look to regroup on Wednesday at home as they host Hesston College in a mid-season non conference matchup at 6:30pm in Arley Bryant Gymnasium.
