HILLSBORO, Missouri- The Cloud County Community College volleyball team went 0-2 during the first day of the two-day Jefferson College Halloween Classic tournament, falling in four sets to Illinois Central College and in three sets to Missouri State-West Plains.

In Friday's second match, the T-Birds had a tough draw with Missouri State-West Plains, which entered the contest with a 24-5 overall record and was ranked No. 5 in the country but were dropped from the polls due to NJCAA probation.
