The Cloud County Community College wrestling team will travel to Arkansas City, Kansas on Wednesday, January 21 for a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) dual against No. 13 Cowley College. The dual is slated to start at 7 pm.
Cloud County is 10-5 on the season and 2-0 in KJCCC duals. The T-Birds opened KJCCC action with a bang on January 14, earning dual victories over Neosho County Community College and Fort Hays Tech Northwest. The T-Birds began with a 39-15 win over Neosho County. Cloud County then followed with a 34-22 triumph against the host school, Fort Hays Tech Northwest.
Overall, Cloud County tallied six wins by fall, one by decision and one by major decision. The T-Birds also recorded four wins via forfeit.

Brayden Hill,
Jase Fitzmorris and
Luke Potter all produced 2-0 records in the duals.
Cloud County was also victorious in one of the two supplemental contests following the traditional duals.

David Holguin, each tallied victories for the T-Birds. James also recorded a victory in an extra match.
Cowley is 2-0 in KJCCC action. The Tigers defeated Colby Community College, 39-12, and Labette Community College, 37-17, at a tri-dual on January 15.
Cowley leads the all-time series, 3-2. The Tigers won the last meeting, 28-18, at William S. Scott Gymnasium in Arkansas City on January 29, 2025.
