Lee Doyen Field

Lee Doyen Field

Lee Doyen Field is the home to Cloud County Community College Baseball. It is named after the first coach in Cloud County history, Lee Doyen. Doyen coached the Thunderbirds from 1970-1976.

Over the years, Doyen Field has seen seen several upgrades. The fence, backstop, and spacious brick dugouts were all constructed in the early 2000's. A second batting cage and hitting area was recently added down the left field line.

A Locker Room Project for Cloud County Baseball began in 2014. 36 lockers and a player lounge area were initially installed in the second floor of the building behind home plate. In the summer of 2016, the building was finished with carpet, updated paint and trim, and a doorway separating the lounge from the press area.

Lee Doyen Field faces the northeast and is 330 feet in the left and right field corners, 360 feet in both gaps, and 390 feet to straight away center field.
