CONCORDIA, Kansas — The Cloud County track and field teams will again be hosting its weekly youth camp, "Cloud Track Night," this spring at Harold M. Clark Stadium on the Concordia High School campus.

Cloud Track Night will run the first four Monday nights in April from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with April 29 being a make-up date if needed. The youth camp is open to kindergarten through six-grade students and will introduce them to a variety of events in track and field.

Cost to attend the camp is $20 and that will cover all four nights of participation. A t-shirt will be available for purchase for an additional $5.

Members of the nationally ranked Cloud County track and field teams will coach the kids through a warm up routine each night before breaking into events and playing a short track related game at the end of the evening. It is the camp's goal to allow each participant a chance to find an event area they enjoy and to teach the basic techniques to help them excel.

Interested parties are asked to bring their registration form and payment to the first night of camp on April 1. Any additional questions can be directed to Cloud County assistant track and field coach Drew Mahin via email at dmahin@cloud.edu or by phone at (785) 259-5659.
