Cloud County Softball Facility

The Cloud County Community College Softball Field is an on-campus facility that is used solely by the Cloud County Softball team. Head Coach Aaron Acree took over the T-Bird Softball program in 2002 and has spearheaded numerous renovations to the facility. The facility was originally the home of Cloud County Baseball. In 2004, the fences were moved in and the process of converting to a softball facility began. Over the years many other renovation projects have helped maintain the facility as one of the top softball facilities in the state. A press box was added in 2007. An irrigation system with 26 sprinkler heads was added in 2011. Acree planted trees behind the outfield fence in 2012 and most recently a concrete walkway was installed with steps leading down to the field. The park sits on the far south end of campus and faces the northeast. It measures 210 feet to left, right, and center field.
