PRATT, Kan. – Scoring a goal just seconds before halftime to take a 1-0 lead, the Cloud County Community College men's soccer team would tack on an additional insurance goal in the 58th minute to bounce back with a 2-0 shutout over Pratt Community College at the Pratt Soccer Field in Pratt, Kansas on Wednesday, September 11th.

Back in the win column for the fourth time this year, the T-Birds improved to 4-3-0 overall and 2-1-0 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference while the Beavers fall to 1-5-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the KJCCC.

CCCC's goal first goal would come in the final 10 seconds of the first half, as earlier missed opportunities would lead to a chance for Jean-Pierre Dasylva who would send a shot back across the 18-yard box into the back of the net to beat the Beaver goalie and put Cloud County up at intermission.

The 1-0 lead would allow Cloud County to grab momentum and keep the pressure on to start the second half, with the T-Birds breaking through for a second goal 13 minutes into the period with Djougher Oliveira putting home a pass from Felipe D'Agostini to double up PCC 2-0 which is where the score would end up at full time.

Dasylva's goal came on five shots off the bench as Cloud County would outshoot Pratt by a tally of 27-9 in the match. Both goalkeepers in the match would turn away three shots with Noberto Vieira earning a shutout after playing all 90 minutes to post his first clean slate of the year.
