CONCORDIA, Kan. – The Cloud County Community College baseball team has added a pair of home game against the Kansas Wesleyan University JV team which will now serve as the 2020 home opener on Wednesday, February 12th beginning at 1 p.m.
Both games will be seven innings in length, and will open up a slate of games for the T-Birds who are now scheduled to play seven of their next 10 games at Lee Doyen Field. Cloud County is off to a 2-0 start after sweeping a road doubleheader at Fort Scott Community College by scores of 6-2 and 16-7. The T-Birds and Greyhounds were slated to play a doubleheader on Sunday that ended up being cancelled due to weather which left a hole in CCCC’s schedule that is now filled with the added games.
Live video for both games will be available at www.cloudtbirds.com/tbirdsportsnetwork as Cloud County will look to get off to a 4-0 start ahead of three games this weekend in Edmond, Oklahoma.
