Cloud County baseball program to host a pair of youth camps on June 25-26

CONCORDIA, Kansas — The Cloud County Community College baseball program has announced dates for its annual youth camps, set for Tuesday and Wednesday, June 25-26.

The Future T-Bird Skills Camp runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. each day and is open to 7-9 year olds. Registration is $40 per participant and will include a free t-shirt. The camp will be capped at the first 40 registrations accepted.

As for the Junior T-Bird Skills Camp, it will follow at 10:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. each day and is open to 10-12 year olds. Registration costs $40 per participant, including a free t-shirt, and will be capped at the first 50 registrations accepted.

Camp participants will receive instruction from the Cloud County coaching staff and team members, with an emphasis on the fundamentals of hitting, defense and baserunning. The camps will be a combination of individual instruction, drill progressions and exciting competition with prizes awarded.

Each youth camp will be held on campus between the Dunning-Hamel Indoor Baseball Training Facility and the Cloud County Community College Softball Field.

Registration forms can be found online at www.cloudbaseballcamps.com and parents have the option to register their children on the website or download the PDF to mail it in.
