Cloud County baseball to host a pair of youth summer camps in July

CONCORDIA, Kansas — The Cloud County Community College baseball team has announced dates for two youth camps to be held in July.

The options include the Future T-Bird Skills Camp (July 10-11), open to ages 10-13, and the Junior T-Bird Skills Camp (July 12-13) for ages 7-9. Both camps will be held at the Concordia Sports Complex and will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day.

Campers will be taught the offensive fundamentals of hitting, bunting, and base running while taking part in individual instruction, drill progressions and exciting competitions. Awards will be given to competition winners.

Those participating will receive instruction from Cloud County head coach Eric Gilliland, as well as current Cloud County players, and local area coaches and players.

The cost of the camp is $50 per participant. Registration will be first come, first serve with a cap of 60 participants for the Future T-Bird Skills Camp and 45 participants for the Junior T-Bird Skills Camp.
